Flip flops or tennies may be a little more comfortable on a day such as this but,

a pair of cute green satin shoes are totally worth it!

Once again, we LOVE cute little girls in matching dresses,

as well as coordinating bridesmaids!

Not only is it a nice way to pinpoint who's in the wedding party

but they also add a lot of color and style to the party.

They also served refreshing mango and berry sorbets in Martini glasses...tres chic!

Matt is a pilot and had plans to fly Hailey off into the dark blue yonder, but... the winds picked up making it unsafe to fly so they went to plan B...Matt's motorcycle served to be another great escape. Their photographer and videographer chased them around town and made for some great pics

From my earliest recollection, playing with flowers seemed a natural source of enjoyment for me. At age 5, I remember entering in the "Sand Saucer" event at school. Basically you took a saucer, filled it with sand and covered it with fresh cut flowers... no stems required. I remember mine had pansies and I couldn't wait until I was old enough to enter the "Flowers in a Bottle" arranging contest reserved for the much older and smarter 7-8yr olds. Being born and raised in New Zealand gave me a unique perspective on all things beautiful. My father a jeweler... my mother a theatrical director... threw us into a world of creative juice. The rest of my life has been spent in the pursuit of such. My greatest creation? Without a doubt... it is family. They who bring me the greatest joy, are those whom my husband and I have shared in bringing into this world. Now the circle widens as they are embarking on their own search for happiness. That is why I love weddings. It is the beginning of a new family. A new creation. So much "Joy" to come... and the process continues. Families are the basic unit of our society. We need to savor, nurture and protect them. Our small part as "Ella Bella", is helping others celebrate the beginings of this joyous occasion. There is something incredibly satisfying in that.
